Summer Camp
July 17th, 2025
Council has moved up the payment and registration even earlier this year! Cost is $630 and after February 15th it goes up $50. Troop 57 attends week four in July. We head to camp Sunday July 27th. More information to come.
If your Scout is interested but having second thoughts, have him ask someone from the troop who has already about their experience.
If your Scout wants to attend and you are having concerns with financials PLEASE ASK! There are options and payment plans. Please see me in private and let's discuss.
Chuckwagon
June 7th, 2025
Council is looking for volunteers to help run stations. The theme is Under The Sea so all stations are based around the sea/ocean/water/etc. If any scouts or leaders would like to help, please let us know asap. If enough scouts and leaders are interested we could turn the event into a mini campout.
Wampatuck Campout
June 13th-15th, 2025
The troop is looking to camp at scout site #4 with Troop 113. The pond is nearby so bring your fishing gear. We are hoping for a good turnout for our last campout of the year. A number of scouts have shown interest and we wanted to confirm attendance before we rent and pay for the porta potty. Since Rockland Day is the 14th we are looking to get an early commitment on this event. If the majority of the toop prefers to attend Rockland Day we will look into pushing camp back to later in the month.
Memorial Day Events
May 24th, 2025
The Saturday before memorial day the troop will be flagging the graves in town. We need lots of help on this one. On Memorial day we will attend the ceremony held at the stadium. More details to follow after Tim White, Rocklands Veteran director comes to our meeting on the 20th.
